FAFSA and RDS are very important, FAFSA is for Financial Aid, it's important to complete this with your parents soon so you will have the opportunity to receive financial aid, this money is shared by everyone, so get in early and take advantage!
RDS - this is the Residency determination, this will determine your eligibility for in-state tuition, you must complete this before you submit your applications.
